2019 Is Rainbow Derbyshire’s Year
It seems that 2019 is shaping up to be quite a year from Rainbow Derbyshire. With 3 award wins already this year and it’s only June.
Young Female Franchisee of the Year
Jennie Mills, MD of Rainbow Derbyshire, was nominated for the bfa Young Female Franchisee of the Year back in early 2019. Pip Wilkins (CEO of the bfa) stated that Jennie has allowed her business to thrive in the East Midlands. Jennie is also an integral franchisee who pioneers improvement within the network.
Jennie was awarded Young Female Franchisee of the Year in June (2019). The bfa explain that franchising isn’t all about the experience, and judges look for a franchisee who may not have come from a business background. Yet despite not being from a business background, Jennie has established a profitable business and her business continues to grow year on year.

Rainbow Derbyshire was awarded Franchisee of the Year for 2018! Rainbow Derbyshire are the first franchisee to receive this after only being in the network for four years.
Head Office consider a lot of elements when deciding who to present with this award. The percentage split and growth in self-generated work and average job value. Also, an increase in turnover and service excellence performance, to name a few.
But what sets Rainbow Derbyshire apart from others in the network? They always put the customer at the heart of everything they do, and this is apparent in their fantastic team. Being a brand ambassador and supporting new franchisees also contributed. Also giving back to the network by sitting on the Procurement Committee. All this and Rainbow Derbyshire are still only in the early stages of their business journey. This demonstrating that hard work and determination really do exceed targets.

Service with a Human Touch Award
Rainbow Derbyshire’s Senior Technician, Jonathan Snowball, won the Service with a Human Touch award.
This was a new award for the 2019 conference and Rainbow Derbyshire are proud that Jonathan has been recognised for his outstanding customer relations. The award recognises Jonathan as someone who takes pride in the service he delivers each and every day.
Also, he receives excellent feedback from customers regularly, making a difference in their lives. But Jonathan is not just there for his customers but also his colleagues, motivating them to do more and be better.
