Life-Saving Addition: Our New Van Now Equipped with Defibrillator!

We are thrilled to announce a significant addition to our fleet of vehicles: a life-saving defibrillator now rests proudly in our brand new van! This essential piece of equipment has the potential to make a profound difference in critical moments, ensuring the safety and well-being of our teams and the customers we serve.

 

At the beginning of this year, our Central Office organised a friendly competition among branches to acquire a much-needed defibrillator. Although the top prize was claimed by the Rainbow Melton Mowbray branch, our team remained resolute in securing this vital resource, regardless of the outcome.

 

Our admin staff underwent thorough training sessions to ensure they can use the defibrillator confidently and effectively.

 

The Oliver King Foundation, inspired by the tragic loss of 12-year-old Oliver King to Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (SADS), works tirelessly to install defibrillators and provide life-saving training. So far, they have saved 71+ lives with their efforts.

 

As we hit the road with our new van, we carry with us a sense of responsibility and preparedness. Together with the Oliver King Foundation, we look forward to making a positive impact and contributing to a safer, more resilient community.
